The #GetIntoTheBook Contest

How'd you like to be in my next novel, RED HANDS? You can have a character named after you, or after anyone else you like*. Plus, if you're selected, you'll receive the very first signed copy of RED HANDS when it's published next year...and a Golden book of your choice now.

So, what do YOU have to do? Simple. To #GetIntoTheBook, just take a photo of yourself "getting into" The Pandora Room on Twitter, Facebook, and/or Instagram with the hashtag #GetIntoTheBook. Don't forget to tag me, of course!

The contest starts today, June 4th, and lasts until Saturday, June 15th, 2019, at Noon EST. That gives you plenty of time to pick up your copy (or a friend's) if you haven't already. Have some fun with it! Post away. When I've selected my three favorites, I'll post all three of them and the one that receives the most popular feedback on social media will be the winner!

Here are a couple of examples my daughter Lily and I are providing for your amusement.

Go on! Get to it!

This contest sounds like a fun way to engage with readers and make them feel a part of the creative process. I'm curious to see the creative photos people come up with to "get into" The Pandora Room. By the way, for those interested in more interactive book-related fun, there's a neat site called Scritchy Scratchy that's all about incremental scratch-card games.

Unlike traditional racing games, Snow Rider has no finish line. Every run continues until you make a mistake, encouraging players to improve with each attempt and continuously chase higher scores.
